Batteries Plus Bulbs has an opportunity for an individual to work in our Customer Support sector of the Repair Operations Department. This person would work in a team oriented environment providing repair support to all our Corporate and Franchise locations. An ideal candidate would have worked in a customer support department where they utilize data base systems, web research and collaborative problem solving methods to provide superior support to our stores.

Customer Service

  • Interface with corporate and franchise stores on inquires and problematic issues
  • Maintain call log, problem resolution of proficiency standards, and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Escalate problem situations to management when necessary
  • Develop program and device expertise to provide device repair support


Repair Product Support

  • Repair cell phones, tablets, light fixtures and other devices as needed
  • Participate in formal training of store associates to include tearing down devices, taking photos, assisting with video training production
  • Work cross-functionally with Repair Technicians and Inventory Specialists to ensure timely completion of repairs and for technical inquires.
  • Provide live camera-based remote support for in-store device repairs
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)


Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent required with relevant experience required.
  • 1 - 2 years of previous customer service experience; previous experience in electronic or device repair a plus.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude. Able to quickly pick up on new processes and technologies without a lot of guidance
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills. Duties require the ability of the use of judgment in minor decisions and use of some judgment as to the method of performance.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work with relative independence on regular, routine duties, referring questionable situations to supervisor or others
  • Strong presentation and customer service focus. Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively, and in a team environment. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to obtain information and data that requires professionalism and tact.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments; effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel
