Do you have a passion for numbers and data?  Looking for a ground floor opporutnity to use and develop your financial analysis skills in the corporate world?  Located on-site at the Batteries Plus Bulbs corporate office and national headquarters in Hartland, WI, the Product Analyst will utilize your passion for numbers, data, and analysis. You will manage Excel spreadsheets and related data, run reports through multiple internal databases, perform data entry, partner with our Data Management team, and balance multiple projects related to basic financial analysis and competitor data related to pricing, costs, and sales. 

The Product Analyst supports our Product Managers and Product Buyers within our product and category management teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related degree and prior related internship or professional work experience.  We are a growing retailer with 700+ stores nationwide and adding to our corporate team.   • Support our Product Managers and our Product Buyers through basic financial analysis, running reports, data entry in multiple internal databases, assist with pricing quotes for bids, and other task as required
  • Partner with our Data Management team to ensure accuracy of product-related data, cross-reference, verify product-related details 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other internal teams on various projects
  • Balance changing priorities and multiple projects
  • Use basic financial analysis skills (including sales, gross margin, averages)and vendor/competitor data to make pricing recommendations to the product management team on new and existing products 
  • Manage Excel spreadsheets and related data


  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. Minimum of Associates Degree required
  • Prior related work experience through a professional internship
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel in order to manage large volumes of data in workbooks. Must know simple formulas; V Look-up knowledge helpful.
  • Proficient in MS Office. Prior experience with G-Suite and Google products (Docs, Sheets, etc) helpful
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Passion for working with numbers and data, demonstrate strong analytical abilities
