The Supply Chain Internship offers a great learning opportunity and the chance to work within a supply chain team supporting 700+ retail stores nationwide.  Located at the Batteries Plus Bulbs corporate office and national headquarters in Hartland, WI, this internship is a first shift, part-time, year-round position ideal for a college student majoring in Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration or related majors. The Supply Chain Intern will provide trustworthy administrative and reporting support for our supply chain team, run scheduled reports, perform reliable data entry, and other helpful behind the scenes support.  As the Supply Chain Intern, you will possess strong Excel skills, high levels of analytical ability, be a current college student, and an interest in reporting and providing numbers and data used by management teams and other staff. This is a great opportunity to learn the supply chain and distribution operations of a growing national retailer. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and provide daily inventory updates
  • Provide daily and monthly metrics, dashboards reports, and KPI's to management
  • Monitor shipping schedules and purchase order fulfillment in vendor portal for both international and domestic vendors
  • Utilize forecasting software to assist purchase team
  • Other supply chain related duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Current student or recent graduate of Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree, in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or related field
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including strong skills in Excel
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Passion for numbers and data
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours per week year-round
