The Inside Sales Representative will focus on developing new business-to-business sales by prospecting and qualifying leads over the phone, creating sales proposals, closing the sale, building long-term business relationships, and provide support to our regional commercial sales managers.  Located at our corporate office and national headquarters in Hartland, WI, you will market Batteries Plus Bulbs as the one-stop shop for power, charging, and lighting solutions for businesses. 

As the Inside Sales Representative, you will provide B2B inside sales and sales support through outbound phone calls targeting businesses within the designated regions, supporting the Regional Sales Managers.  You will also promote programs and services we offer for businesses such as commercial business accounts, recycling programs, on-site battery testing, and needs assessments all while being helpful, trustworthy, reliable, resourceful, and passionate in providing businesses with solutions for their power and lighting needs.  Does this sound like an exciting opportunity?  If yes, apply today for consideration.

Responsibilities:

  • Support commercial business outside sales team through inside sales support
  • Identify key decision-makers throughout business organizations
  • Drive commercial sales activity through outbound calls, both cold calls and warm leads
  • Proactively develop new business from targeted industry segments and existing business customers
  • Work closely with regional sales manager to achieve team and company sales goals
  • Provide support for sales campaigns, sales planning, running sales reports
  • Achieve and exceed call goal expectations
  • Effectively utilize internal CRM database and tools, Salesforce.com

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of inside sales and/or sales support experience, business-to-business
  • Demonstrated drive to achieve goals and demonstrated track record of achievements
  • Proven sales abilities to successfully prospect and qualify leads and solidify appointments
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently in a fast-paced and fun work environment
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to calculate percent, ratio, measurements, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication 
  • Proficient with MS Office including Excel
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred
